Methods of purchase.
The Radon Detector kits are purchased using one of the following methods;
- Buy on line with Credit or Debit card (secure payment with Realex).
- By Post – Print off Application Form and return the completed Form to Radon Testing.ie along with a Bank Draft/ Cheque.
- By Phone – payment by Credit or Debit cards.
The customer is required to specify on the Application Form whether the Detector kit is for the Home or Workplace. Home detectors can not be used in the Workplace.
Online purchases will be acknowledged by electronic means.
Once payment has been received and verified the detectors will be dispatched by post.
Detectors purchased by cheque will only be dispatched once cheque has cleared.
Please allow 7 working days from receipt and verification of payment by Radon Testing.ie for delivery of goods.
Please notify us if you have not received delivery within the 7 working days.
Detector Kit contents
The Radon Detector Kit will contain the following;
- The number of detectors ordered by you for either your Home or Workplace.
- Instructions for the placement of the detectors in your Home or Workplace.
- Record card (to be completed by you and returned with detectors for analysis).
- Stamp addressed return envelope.
Placement and Return of Detectors
It is the customer's responsibility to place the detectors in your Home or Workplace as outlined in the instructions. The detectors should not be interfered with in any way and should be kept out of the reach of children.
It is the customer's responsibility to return the Detectors and the completed Record card to Radon Testing.ie using the stamp addressed envelope provided following the test period (normally 3 months).
Analyses and results
The detectors are checked upon return to ensure they have not been tampered with. If they have been opened, no analysis will be carried out.
Following this check they are then analysed and the results sent to you either by email or post (as specified on the record card ). Please allow 15 working days for results from the date of return.
Refunds and Returns
If on receipt of the detectors, they are found to be faulty or damaged please contact Radon Testing.ie to arrange a replacement or refund.
Replacement and/or refunds are not available in any other circumstances.
Replacement and/or refunds are not available if the product is damaged or becomes faulty as a result of misuse, mishandling or the actions of any party other than Radon Testing.ie.
Any complaints should be sent to Radon Testing.ie. All complaints will be deal with promptly.
Radon Testing.ie is not responsible for the content/information given to any third party website that you may enter by way of link from our website. You are subject to the terms and conditions of those websites.

Information and/or data relating to any individual, household and/or workplace will be held in strict confidence according to current privacy legislation by Radon Testing.ie and our Laboratories.
Radon Testing.ie does not make any information you provide available to any third party.
Customer information may be used for statistical purposes such as trend, geographic analyses etc – but these analyses will always be in generic form and have no reference to any individual, household and/or workplace.
